We are looking for a receptionist to join our busy team. In conjunction with the medical and nursing team our receptionist will provide seamless care for the Trust’s patients.
Our reception area is the first point of contact for the endoscopy unit. The position requires maintaining a courteous and responsive attitude, fostering effective team relationships and ensuring that all patients, relatives and visitors to the department are always dealt with in a courteous manner.
The endoscopy unit operates Monday to Friday between 08:00 and 18:00.
You should therefore expect to work flexibly within your contracted hours.
Previous experience is desirable but not essential, as a full induction into the role will be given.

1. Experience of working with the public and demonstrating strong customer care skills - kindness, compassion and communicating information to all clinicians and patients as required
2. Knowledge of East London, its people and resources
3. Awareness of the physical, psychological, cultural and social needs of patients
