Are you a Buyer or Estimator with a background working within the Water Industry looking to step into a brand new role with a successful, multi-faceted engineering company that will provide ongoing career development and mobility within the group? In this office based role you will source and procure materials, fixtures, and equipment from approved suppliers to support project requirements. You will obtain and evaluate supplier quotations to ensure competitive pricing and cost effective purchasing decisions. You will prepare accurate cost estimates by reviewing project drawings, specifications, and labour requirements.

This role would suit someone with a background working within the Water Industry seeking an office based buyer estimator role with a company that will provide training and continuous progression.


Responsibilities

* Sourcing and procuring materials
* Evaluate supplier quotations
* Prepare cost estimates by reviewing project drawings, specifications, and labour requirements
* Maintain supplier relationships and ensure compliance with company procurement policies


Qualifications / The Person

* Background in the Water industry
* Buyer, Estimator, or construction background
* Able to commute to Uxbridge
