About The Role
Shift Pattern: This is a casual contract, shifts will be available to cover sickness, annual leave, holidays, training and busy periods on site across Monday to Sunday and the shift times are 6am until 2pm.
To complete daily tasks relating to the delivery of the OCS cleaning service at the National Exhibition Centre, ensuring client satisfaction & customer excellence are achieved & that all services are delivered to the expected standard.
Duties Include
* Clean windows, main entrances on piazza, skywalk, atrium, concourse offices, restaurant windows, skywalk and centre core.
* You will be required to clean bus stop shelters and signage around the NEC site.
* To clean windows and Glass doors and portholes in exhibition halls and public circulation areas.
* Some window cleaning jobs will require use of extension poles, Jet wash, Cherry picker, scissor Lifts (high level cleaning).
* All glass to be cleaned to a high standard and smear free including frames, all residue and foreign matter to be removed
* Any other reasonable instructions
Customer Service
Deal politely & courteously with any requests for help, information, advice or queries asked by visitors, event planners, & the client, always representing OCS in a positive way.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensuring you are following the impact cleaning modules.
* Ensuring window cleaning activities are carried out to the highest standards
* To ensure that you are in full uniform & the correct P.P.E is worn during shifts & that is serviceable & clean.
* Ensure all cleaning equipment you have been using is cleaned correctly, maintained & used efficiently & stored correctly ready for the next time of use.
* To report faulty equipment to your supervisor/line manager
* You will be informed by your supervisor which task(s) you will undertake for your shift each day
* To Attend training as required by your supervisor/manager
