Position: Third in Charge
Hours: 42.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday, all year round
Salary: £35,360.00 per annum

Your Role as Third in Charge / Room Leader
In this exciting role, you will:
* Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments, and resources tailored to children's age and development.
* Enhance children's physical, intellectual, social, and emotional development.
* Assist staff in updating the EyLog system and child learning journals with high-quality documentation.
* Lead by example, promoting respect and credibility in your role.
* Support the key person approach to help children form secure attachments and identify staff training needs.
* Maintain accurate records related to children and staff on the EyMan system.
* Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff member, parent, and visitor.
* Understand and ensure compliance with the statutory framework for the EYFS.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you will need:
*
Full and relevant Level 3 in Childcare qualification: Essential.
*
Over 1 year of experience in Early Years: Essential.
*
Over 6 months of experience in a senior position: Desirable.
*
Sound knowledge of Ofsted expectations: Desirable.
*
Knowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS: Essential.
*
Fluency in written and spoken English: Essential.
