Job Description
Job Title: Accounts Assistant
Location: Birmingham
Hours: Monday – Friday, 30 hours a week
Pay: £26,000 - £28,000 Pro rata
Contact: 12 Month fixed term
Responsibilities:
1. Support the Finance team with Accounts Payable and handle enquiries, ensuring tasks are completed promptly.
2. Assist the sales team with raising quotes, posting invoices, and other administrative duties.
3. Utilise Sage and Xero accounting software effectively.
4. Respond to queries via telephone or email.
5. Collaborate with various departments to ensure smooth workflow and communication.
Requirements:
* Previous experience with Sage and Xero (preferred).
* Ability to work well within a team and assist as needed.
