What You’ll Do:
As a Residential Childcare Worker, you'll play a crucial role in the daily lives of the children we care for, providing support, warmth, and structure. Your responsibilities will include:
* Providing Care and Support: Help create a safe and nurturing home for our children, supporting their daily needs and personal development.
* Using Therapeutic Approaches: Engage in training and utilise therapeutic methods to enhance the well‑being of the children.
* Team Collaboration: Work alongside a team of dedicated professionals aiming to make a substantial difference in young lives.
* Learning and Growing: Participate in comprehensive training programs and pursue qualifications in residential childcare.
Who We’re Looking For:
We are looking for someone who has a genuine desire to support and make a difference in the lives of young people. Previous experience in children's homes is desirable, but not essential we provide full training! A Level 3 or 4 Diploma in Residential Childcare is a plus but not a requirement. We will support the right candidate to achieve this qualification, including time off for study. We are looking for that special person who is looking for a long‑term role where you can grow your skills and really impact your community.

Please be aware that this post is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and that you will be required to meet the cost of the DBS check currently £49.50. The payment for this will be deducted from your first four months’ salary payments at a rate of £12.38 per month. If you do not commence employment for any reason but the DBS has been processed, you will be sent an invoice for the payment of £49.50.
