We are seeking a skilled bathroom/kitchen Fitter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse set of skills in various construction and maintenance disciplines. This role involves working with hand and power tools, interpreting schematics, and performing tasks related to joinery, plumbing, and more. The Fitter will be responsible for ensuring that all installations and repairs meet the highest standards of quality and safety. Must have own tools and transport
Responsibilities
* Carry out fitting tasks across various disciplines including joinery, plumbing, kitchen and bathroom installations.
* Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to complete projects on time.
* Read and interpret schematics to ensure accurate assembly and installation of components.
* Perform welding and fabrication tasks as required for specific projects.
* Engage in carpentry work, including the construction of frameworks and supports.
* Execute plastering and masonry duties to finish surfaces to a high standard.
* Conduct construction painting as part of final project touches.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols.
* Maintain a clean and organised work environment at all times.
Requirements
* Proven experience in plumbing, joinery work is highly desirable.
* Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and other construction equipment.
* Strong understanding of construction processes and techniques.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately.
* Experience in plastering, masonry, carpentry, or fabrication is an advantage.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
