An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Schemes & Affinities team, who provide specialist insurance products to Recruitment & Payroll companiesandSports Clubs&Associations. Working for one of the largest UK Independent Brokers.
This role provides essential support to the team from the ground up, by allowing you to get involved with looking after clients, growing salesopportunitiesand working alongside with a fantastic team who will support you with peer-to-peer development.
Whatyou'lldo
You will have responsibility for bringing in new business, administering policies, liaising with Insurers and Clients to find the best solutions, provide support to the wider team, including Client Executives and Managers and acting as a reliable and informed point of contact for clients.
On a day-to-day basis you will be:
1. Responsible for administering policies
2. Liaising with Insurers and clients to find the best solutions with careful,tailoredand positive communication
3. Manage renewals and policies with accuracy and confidence
4. Generate new business andidentifycross-selling and upselling opportunities
5. Handle Mid-Term Adjustments
6. Provide support to the wider team, including Client Executives and Managers by way of maintainingActurisrecords, obtaining e-Traded quotes and renewal terms viaActuris,assistingwith matters arising fromActurisreporting as and whenrequired

7. A keen interest in the world of Commercial Insurance
8. Organisation,accuracyand attention to detail
9. Passion,energyand a strong customer service ethos
10. Effective, confident & considerate communication and an ability to adapt your communication style accordingly
11. Intuitive thinking and strong decision-making skills
12. The ability to pick up terminology/jargon quickly and a willingness to learn your market.
13. IT confidence
14. Be Cert CII qualified or be prepared to start and commit to your Cert journey.
Ideal, but not essential:
15. Previousexperience within a commercial insurance environment would beadvantageousbut not essential
16. Experience of usingActuriswouldadvantageousbut full training would be provided
