Our client, a renowned global real estate services provider, is seeking a highly motivated Rural Chartered Surveyor to join their dynamic Rural Estate Management Team in Lincoln. This exciting opportunity offers the chance to work on a diverse range of rural estates across the East Midlands and beyond, providing expert management, professional consultancy, and strategic advice.
Position Overview
As a Rural Chartered Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional estate management and professional consultancy services to a diverse client base, including private clients, institutions, public sector, and corporate clients. Your expertise will contribute to the success of the team and the satisfaction of our client's valued customers.
Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive estate management and associated professional work
* Manage properties, including lease renewals, maintenance, and compensation claims
* Prepare detailed management reports for clients
* Handle residential and agricultural lettings and rent reviews
* Maintain accurate records and terriers for managed estates
* Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure property compliance
* Liaise with clients, tenants, and stakeholders effectively
* Assist with departmental administration, meetings, and marketing tasks
* Work closely with other disciplines within the office
Requirements
* MRICS qualification; CAAV qualification advantageous
* Up to 5 years of post-qualification experience in rural surveying
* Strong problem-solving, planning, and organisational skills
* Excellent communication and networking abilities
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Outlook, and Excel
* Meticulous attention to detail and a proactive approach
* Full driving licence and access to a car for business purposes
* Eligibility to work in the UK
