Functional Skills Tutor – English & Maths Catch-Up
Location: Home and community-based
Support vulnerable learners aged 14–18 who are working below GCSE level. Your sessions will focus on Functional Skills in English and Maths, delivered in a practical, engaging format that reflects real-world application.
Most pupils have SEMH or SEN needs, and may be out of school.
✅ What We’re Looking For:
* Teaching qualification with QTS is preferred but a degree with experience is accepted
* Enhanced DBS child workforce only certificate or a willingness to obtain one
* Substantial experience supporting disengaged or vulnerable learners
* Ability to personalise content and pace to suit learner

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
