What you’ll be doing
* Lead with impact – Drive key programmes that deliver our commercial strategy for a specific market segment, helping us achieve our Medium-Term Plan (MTP) goals and win in a competitive landscape.
* Shape commercial priorities – Work closely with sales leaders and segment leadership to align on the big bets. You’ll be the bridge between segment needs and commercial execution.
* Spot opportunities before they emerge – Use your deep understanding of the market and portfolio trends to anticipate commercial risks and unlock new opportunities.
* Turn insights into action – Analyse trading performance and key metrics to identify growth levers and guide decision-making.
* Own the execution – Deliver targeted trading interventions and campaigns that drive performance, directly supporting the segment’s commercial plan.
* Hold the line on performance – Play a key role in segment trading governance, contributing to forecasts and ensuring sales leaders are accountable for results.
* Partner beyond BT – Collaborate and negotiate with external vendor partners to bring our commercial priorities to life.
* Be a connector – Work cross-functionally with stakeholders across the Commercial team, S&C, and the wider BT business to drive alignment and shared success.
* Champion continuous improvement – Lead initiatives to enhance commercial processes and drive smarter, faster ways of working.
What you’ll be doing

You bring proven experience in commercial management within this industry, with a strong grasp of market dynamics, trends, and the competitive landscape.
• Project Delivery & Prioritisation
You’re organised, focused, and can juggle multiple priorities, ensuring the right projects land at the right time with maximum impact.
• Risk Management
You’re able to anticipate potential challenges and put plans in place to manage and mitigate commercial risk.
