Reporting directly to the General Manager – Facilities, the post holder will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering high-quality cleaning services across all hospital sites.
This is a high-impact role and the post holder will be accountable for a significant operational portfolio. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference to patient experience and service quality across the Trust.
On a day to day basis, duties will include:-
1. Leading the delivery of cleaning and food services to wards and departments across designated sites.
2. Acting as the Trust-wide Cleaning Lead, setting and maintaining consistent cleaning standards across all hospitals.
3. Supporting the General Manager in driving service improvements and implementing innovative practices following successful trials.
4. Managing service budgets, ensuring financial balance, and producing monthly exception reports with remedial action plans.
The ideal candidate will:-
5. Be educated to degree level or possess relevant qualifications with significant experience in a senior facilities role.
6. Be a confident leader with excellent communication skills, with an interest in developing people to reach business goals in different service areas
7. Have significant experience in budget management
8. Have demonstrable experience in managing large staff groups in complex services
