Job Shop Recruitment has an opportunity for a Technical Advisor for a client of ours based in Totnes. The Technical Advisor will play an important part in providing technical advice to customers, working with suppliers, and helping to source equipment and expand our range. Although an interest in natural history/ecology is essential, technical knowledge of the products we sell is not, and all training will be provided. The role involves working with colleagues across the company to ensure we deliver the best service and products to our customers across the marketplace. Responsibilities include: * Customer support – you will provide advice and support to customers on our range of equipment and books. * Purchasing – you will help with purchasing, including building and maintaining relationships with new and existing suppliers, assisting with pricing, and placing orders. * Product range – you will help source new products, prepare product descriptions, and monitor product performance. * Marketing – you will help to prepare marketing materials, including blog posts and emails. * Sales – you will support the sales and marketing team by building relationships with new and existing customers. * Cross-working - the Product and Purchasing team works very closely with many other departments.
