We are looking for a talented and proactive CAD Manager to take a leading role in the production and coordination of MEP designs across a wide range of projects.You'll ensure drawings, models, and design information meet the highest technical and quality standards, working closely with engineers across multiple offices to deliver coordinated, accurate, and timely outputs that supports the success of every project.Software SkillsAutoCAD - essentialRevit - preferredNavisworks - preferredMicrosoft Excel / Word - essentialIES - desirable Key responsibilitiesProduce coordinated 2D MEP drawings to construction level, translating engineer mark-ups and briefs into accurate CAD outputManage drawings, models and documentation in line with project and company standardsEnsure coordination across MEP, architectural and structural disciplinesLiaise with engineers to manage deadlines and incoming CAD requests, allocating workload across teamsProvide hands-on CAD production while mentoring and supporting junior techniciansContribute to design meetings and technical discussions to support project deliveryMaintain QA and BIM processes in line with UK regulations and industry standardsOversee document control, drawing issue sheets and digital file management proceduresThe ideal candidate will have:5-10 years' experience producing MEP drawings using AutoCADStrong understanding of building services, coordination and construction processesBackground within a small to medium-sized consulting engineering environmentProven ability to manage drawing production across multiple projects and deadlinesConfident setting up and managing 2D layouts, schematic drawings and MEP modelsExcellent communication and organisational skills with strong attention to detailCommercially aware with a clear understanding of project delivery timelinesKnowledge of Building Regulations, CDM and relevant British StandardsCollaborative approach, comfortable working across teams and disciplinesInterested?
