Registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) is essential.
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and self‑motivated technician to join the NHSGGC Prescribing Support Team and advance key prescribing initiatives. As a key member of the Prescribing Team you will promote and implement cost‑effective, evidence‑based prescribing within GP practices and care homes across NHS GGC. You will work with GPs and multidisciplinary teams to improve medicines management and deliver excellent patient care.
* Collaborate with GPs and multidisciplinary teams in GP practices and care homes to enhance medicines management.
* Support delivery of the pharmacotherapy service under the GP contract.
* Promote cost‑effective, evidence‑based prescribing practices.
* Maintain excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills, and influence change within the team.
Minimum qualifications:
* Pharmacy Technician, NVQ3 or BTEC in Pharmaceutical Sciences, or equivalent.
* Registrant with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
