Company Description
Rehubs is an online addiction treatment service designed by experienced clinicians and recovery professionals to make high-quality support more accessible and affordable. We provide structured, therapist-led programmes for people struggling with addiction, combining evidence-based therapy, clinical oversight, and ongoing support in a flexible digital format. Rehubs removes traditional barriers to treatment, offering timely, professional care without the need for residential admission.
Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for an Admissions Advisor, joining a close-knit team of three. You'll be a key point of contact for individuals and families seeking addiction treatment, guiding them from their first enquiry through to the right next step. The work involves managing incoming enquiries, explaining our treatment options clearly, helping people navigate a decision that is often frightening and overwhelming, and ensuring every interaction is handled with warmth, professionalism, and full confidentiality.
Because of the sensitive nature of this work, this role requires demonstrable professional experience working within an addiction treatment setting. We need someone who genuinely understands the realities of addiction and recovery, can hold a difficult conversation with insight rather than scripts, and has a working knowledge of the wider treatment landscape so they can guide callers honestly toward the right option for them — whether that's with us or elsewhere.
Essential Criteria
* Demonstrable paid or voluntary experience working directly within an addiction treatment service (for example: residential rehab, community drug and alcohol services, detox, aftercare, or recovery support), clearly evidenced on your CV with role, setting, and dates
* A strong working understanding of addiction, recovery pathways, and the psychological and behavioural patterns commonly seen in people seeking treatment
* Familiarity with the UK and Ireland treatment landscape, including NHS, private, charitable, and mutual-aid options
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to hold sensitive conversations calmly and without judgement
* Strong active listening, empathy, and professionalism
* Comfortable working independently in a remote setting while staying closely connected to a small team
Desirable
* Relevant qualifications in counselling, psychology, social work, or addiction studies
* Lived experience of recovery is valued and welcomed, but is not a substitute for the professional experience set out above
A note on applications: We assess sector experience carefully during shortlisting and interview, so please make sure your CV clearly sets out where you've worked, in what capacity, and for how long. Applications that don't evidence direct addiction-service experience are unlikely to progress.
Rehubs is an equal opportunities employer. We welcome applications from all qualified candidates regardless of age, disability, gender identity, race, religion or belief, sex, sexual orientation, marital status, or pregnancy and maternity.
