About The Role

We are looking for a caring, motivated Dental Nurse to join our friendly, patient-focused team. Working across our modern practices and community locations, you will provide high-quality clinical support to our dentists and dental therapists while helping deliver exceptional patient care.

Innovative Dental Nurse Career Pathway

Grow and develop within a supportive environment where you can pursue special interests, gain qualifications, and even care for your own list of patients in nurse-led clinics. Additional qualifications include Radiography, IHS/IV Sedation, Fluoride Varnish, Oral Health Education.


Key Responsibilities

GDC-registered Dental Nurse.

* Provide chairside assistance to clinicians across general, urgent, and community dentistry settings.
* Maintain high standards of infection control and ensure surgeries are prepared and cleaned efficiently.
* Support the delivery of emergency and routine care, including special care and paediatric sessions.
* Work as part of a multidisciplinary team delivering care both in practice and, when required, through community and outreach programmes.
* Engage with patients compassionately, helping to reduce anxiety and ensuring they feel welcomed and supported.
* Assist with administrative tasks including record‑keeping, stock control, and patient preparation.

Qualifications

* NEBDN National Certificate in Dental Nursing, NVQ Level 3 in Dental Nursing (DN) or equivalent.
* Full registration with the General Dental Council.


Experience

* Competency in the common aspects of dental nursing and experience of a wide range of dental procedures acquired through training and clinical experience.
* Trained to recognise and respond to medical emergencies (e.g., Immediate Life Support Techniques).
* Desirable: Experience of mentoring newly qualified Dental Nurses or student Dental Nurses.
* Desirable: Experience in the recruitment of Dental Nurses.
