Human Resources Assistant - Fixed Term up to 12 months, Carrickfergus

Principal Duties:
* Compile a variety of information and confidential materials from various sources, summarizing information in line with targets and objectives, and preparing reports as required.
* Act as a note-taker in senior management and other HR meetings.
* Undertake allocated HR projects and activities to meet targets and inform line management of issues.
* Serve as a point of contact for employees and visitors for the HR department.
* Assist with the recruitment process, including administering selection tests, organizing shortlisting and interviews, and preparing documentation.
* Maintain and utilize HR systems and databases to extract, analyze, and report data.
* Support the implementation of health, well-being, and corporate social responsibility strategies.
Essential Criteria:
* 3rd level qualification and/or CIPD qualification
* Minimum of one year's experience in a customer-facing role
* Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
* Strong customer focus and interpersonal skills
* Adaptable and flexible
* Teamwork skills
* Good analytical, planning, and organizing skills
* Results-oriented, able to work independently
* Proficient in Microsoft Office
Desirable Criteria:
* Experience in an engineering manufacturing environment
* Previous HR experience
* Experience with PAMS and NorthTime Pro
