About the role
Rydges Newcastle is seeking an experienced Kitchen Hand to join our fast-paced and dynamic kitchen team.
To be considered for this role, you need to:
* Be able to work a 7-day rotating roster, including Public Holidays
* Ensure work is carried out in a timely and efficient manner
* Attend and be responsible for all training provided by the kitchen and management team
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times
* Take responsibility for various cleaning duties
* Maintain personal grooming standards as per hotel policy
* Comply with all hotel operational policies and procedures
* Follow all occupational health and safety guidelines (OH&S)
* Perform any other duties as directed by the Executive Chef and management team
About You
* Proven experience in a similar role is highly regarded
* Attention to detail and willingness to learn
* Reliable, professional, and personable with a can-do attitude
* Ability to use initiative and strong problem-solving skills
* Flexible and adaptable to the fast-paced hotel environment
* Available to work a 7-day rotating roster, including weekends and Public Holidays
