 
        
        Recruitment Assistant – Overview
The Recruitment Assistant will work as part of the Recruitment Team and wider Peoples Service Team, providing administrative support to Agenda for Change recruitment processes across the organisation. As a Recruitment Assistant, you will play a vital role in the recruitment process, helping us to engage, and onboard the best candidates for various roles across the Trust. We are a supportive and forward‑thinking recruitment team, committed to delivering a high‑quality recruitment and onboarding service to candidates and hiring managers in a busy and demanding environment.
Responsibilities
 * Administer the Recruitment process, including Honorary Contracts, reference requests and Work Experience.
 * Actively engage with Recruitment Officers to support the full end‑to‑end recruitment cycle from vacancy creation to onboarding for vacancies across the Trust.
 * Receive all initial contacts to the Recruitment department via phone and e‑mail, ensuring that these are dealt with in a timely, accurate and professionally customer‑focused manner or passed to the most appropriate team member.
 * Provide administrative and advisory support throughout the recruitment process, ensuring the delivery of an excellent recruitment service to managers, staff and applicants.
 * Maintain a green dashboard within the TRAC Recruitment Management system each day, working together with Recruitment Officers and Assistants.
 * Provide advice to recruiting managers to ensure their recruitment is processed efficiently and in line with Trust policies, procedures, legislation and best practice.
 * Develop and maintain positive working relationships with Recruiting Managers, focusing on a client‑centred Recruitment Service.
Qualifications
 * Excellent computer skills, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (Outlook, Excel, Word, MS Teams).
 * Excellent communication skills, ability to complete tasks and attention to detail.
 * Positive can‑do attitude, desire for problem solving and pride in the service delivered.
 * Previous recruitment experience is not required as training will be offered.
 * Hybrid working after successful completion of the training period.
