Week 1: Mon 9 Tues 9 Wed 9 Thurs 9 = 36 hour week

Week 2: Mon 9 Tues 9 Wed 9 Thurs 9 and Sat 8 = 44 hour week

Total average weekly hours: 40

Are you a dedicated and patient-focused Pharmacist looking for an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the healthcare industry?

Rowlands Pharmacy is seeking a talented and experienced pharmacist to join our team. As a reputable and community oriented pharmacy chain, we are committed to providing the highest standard of care to our patients. This branch is staffed with an experienced team including a Non pharm manager, ACT and x2 HCP (plus x1 trainee) and x2 Students - all providing an excellent service to the local community from their setting next door to GP surgery. Currently dispensing around 7000 items per month, this is a relatively BUSY branch with a lot of walk in's. As well as providing a variety of services, this branch also utilises our Medipac robotic distribution technology and pill pouch. This frees up your time to provide the care our patients deserve.

Key Responsibilities

9. Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical guidelines
10. Provide medication counselling and support to patients, answering their questions and addressing concerns
11. Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including doctors and nurses, to optimize patient care
12. Conduct medication reviews and ensure safe and effective medication management
13. Maintain accurate patient records and manage pharmacy inventory
14. Provide immunization services (where applicable)
15. Offer advice on over-the-counter medications and healthcare products
16. Actively participate in health promotion and public health initiatives

What We Require

17. Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
18. Strong commitment to patient care and safety
19. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
20. Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
21. Up-to-date knowledge of pharmaceutical products and healthcare trends
22. A flexible and positive approach to problem-solving
