Financial Accountant
Location: Wolverhampton | Salary: Up to £55,000 + Benefits
The Opportunity
A fantastic opportunity for a Qualified Accountant to join a well-established organisation in Wolverhampton. This role offers strong exposure across reporting, audit, and business partnering, making it ideal for someone looking to step into a broad, high-impact position.
The Role
Youll play a key part in delivering accurate financial reporting and supporting the wider business with insights and control. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment with real visibility.
Key Responsibilities
Production of monthly financial accounts and reporting packs
Lead balance sheet reconciliations and maintain financial controls
Ensure compliance with UK GAAP / IFRS
Assist month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes
Ensure timely and accurate consolidation information
VAT and tax support
Liaise with external auditors
Assist preparation of statutory accounts for the year-end audit.
Drive process improvements across finance
About You
ACA qualified
Strong financial accounting and reporting experience
Confident managing audits and working to deadlines
Advanced Excel skills
Proactive, detail-driven, and commercially aware
