A Bit About The Role …
Reporting into a Project Director, you will manage global meetings, events, and congress participation for our pharmaceutical clients. You will ensure each event is profitable, compliant, and meets client and team expectations. You will be responsible for logistical elements and budget management, supported by a Project Executive who manages attendee participation.
This role involves national and international travel and includes client partner, supplier, and financial management at all stages of delivery—pre, on-site, and post-event.

Responsibilities include:
* Managing venues and logistical arrangements for congresses and related activities
* Managing congress sponsorship activities, liaising with contracting teams and booth providers
* Coordinating client requirements with third-party suppliers and internal teams
* Producing and circulating communication updates such as weekly status reports
* Conducting site inspections and planning meetings with suppliers
* Managing post-event metrics reporting
Client Liaison and Development:
* Delivering excellent customer service aligned with client goals
* Planning and attending client meetings, including virtual, hybrid, and face-to-face
Financial Management:
* Preparing and maintaining event budgets, approving invoices
* Tracking financials and conducting regular health checks for positive cash flow
* Managing scope and charging for out-of-scope activities
* Tracking cost savings and ensuring invoicing compliance
General:
* Collaborating with support departments to meet client goals
* Mentoring new starters as a 'Buddy'
* Applying company mission, vision, and values
* Maintaining good relationships with venues and suppliers for value optimization
* Representing the agency positively
Requirements:
* Over 3 years of event management experience in corporate events
* Experience managing budgets from initial planning through reconciliation
* Strong client liaison skills
* Team motivation and professionalism
* Attention to detail and customer service focus
* Intermediate Excel skills for managing complex spreadsheets
* Willingness and ability to travel internationally for on-site events
