Job Summary
The Communications Officer for the Togetherness team will work across multiple projects to help the organisation grow its profile and reach across a range of stakeholders and communities around the UK and internationally. This role comes at an exciting time – we seek to grow awareness of a new brand and embed new partnerships to amplify our impact for children and families. As a varied and fast‑paced position, the post holder will be central to advancing our engagement strategy, developing sophisticated multi‑channel campaigns, and improving visibility across our online education offer. Key responsibilities include developing social media content, optimising web copy, designing a segmented email CRM strategy, and managing key account relationships with public sector organisations, health trusts and the third sector to communicate the brand effectively and drive engagement.
Main Duties, Tasks & Skills Required
* Proactively develop relationships in key account areas and support local promotion of Togetherness.
* Plan and deliver creative, multi‑channel campaigns to raise awareness of key components of the Togetherness offer, focusing on outcomes and KPIs.
* Seek and develop engaging news and commentary features to support communications campaigns.
* Review and advise on the development of social media channels using audience insights, ensuring audience growth and meaningful impact for parents.
* Review, write and optimise web copy to ensure effective, engaging, and accessible communication of our offer.
* Maximise the impact of email communications across our network of trained practitioners, guiding team members in segmented campaign execution.
* Research and advise on optimised advertising opportunities, both digital and out‑of‑home, aligned with strategic engagement objectives.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Degree qualification or equivalent experience in communications or marketing.
* A‑level in English or equivalent.
Experience
* Three or more years of experience in marketing, communications or a related field.
* Proven ability to build relationships with key external stakeholders.
Knowledge
* Good knowledge of digital communications channels, including CRM, CMS and social media.
* Understanding of media sector motivations and agendas, market and target audiences.
* Proven knowledge of the health, education or public sector.
* Strong understanding of PR and stakeholder relations to deliver influence.
* Experience planning, delivering and evaluating communications or marketing campaigns.
* Experience working to enhance brand and reputation management.
