Caddy Group are looking to speak to a part time accounts assistant for one of our clients based in Rochester.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
* Process invoices, expense reports, and payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
* Reconcile bank statements and manage petty cash transactions.
* Maintain and update financial records, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
* Support the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports.
* Assist with the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
* Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to resolve any invoicing or payment discrepancies.
* Provide general administrative support to the finance department as needed.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably within the construction industry.
* Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial practices.
* Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
