Your Role:
* To provide support to the Authority customer in the delivery of the transport service and to liaise with other departments on associated issues. This involves both the administration of the customers driving competencies on MyDrive and the administration of the MOD RTC (Road Traffic Collision) process, currently on MySafety.
* Assist Team Leader on administrative tasks for the depot including IFS entries for time keeping the organisation of staff training completion and the purchase ordering of workwear and PPE.
* Administer the MOD RTC process using the E-Impact MIS. This will involve the investigation of incidents including taking photographic evidence and driver/witness statements. This may involve visiting any incident site within 10-mile radius of Larkhill.
* Assist in the closing down of transport details carried out using pool and hire vehicles.
* Provide cover for other service delivery positions as and when necessary.
* Control the issue, return and management checks of the Transport Service Equipment Table store and assist the running of the ADSL PPE and exercise equipment stores.
What We’re Looking For:
* Qualifications: Be IT literate and hold the position of Driving Permit Officer (DPO) using MyDrive in a military MT environment, successfully completed a Road Safety Advisor (RSA) course and JAMES trained would be advantageous.
* Experience: Experience of working in a team environment and in a customer facing role. An understanding of military type wheeled vehicles and transport processes.
* Skills: Ability to communicate at all levels and be an effective team member. Recognises the importance of the customer to the business and identifies their needs and proactively assists with them.
* Driving Licence: Full UK valid driving licence required.
