We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Manager to join a global consultancy business based in Richmond.
This is a full-time, permanent role that will be 4x days a week in the office.
Sales Manager Responsibilities (UK & International Markets):
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key and strategic accounts, acting as the primary point of contact through both in-person and virtual engagement.
* Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet revenue targets.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, product demonstrations, and targeted outreach.
* Drive account growth by identifying upsell opportunities across products, licences, and services (e.g. training).
* Represent the company as a product expert, clearly communicating value propositions to clients and partners.
* Manage the full sales lifecycle from initial discovery through to negotiation and closing, maintaining an accurate and active pipeline.
* Prepare and deliver client presentations and proposals, demonstrating product value and return on investment.
* Monitor sales performance, market trends, and distributor activity, producing regular reports and forecasts.
* Use data and analytics to identify performance gaps and growth opportunities, presenting insights to senior stakeholders.
* Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
* Travel periodically to key regions to meet clients, attend events, and strengthen relationships.
* Plan and deliver regular in-person and virtual events to promote products and engage customers.
* Collaborate with internal teams on promotional strategies and new product launches.
* Track and report on sales activities, performance, and strategic progress.
Sales, Training & Consultancy:
* Develop and implement sales strategies for training and consultancy services.
* Identify and target prospective clients for on-site training and advisory services.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, clients, and consulting partners.
* Conduct product demonstrations and deliver tailored solutions across multiple markets.
* Identify opportunities to expand accounts through additional services and offerings.
* Act as a knowledgeable ambassador for the company’s products and services.
* Travel regularly to support client engagement, training delivery, and business development.
* Organise and host events to promote services and strengthen customer relationships.
* Support marketing and sales efforts for new product and service releases.
* Deliver presentations and proposals that clearly articulate value and ROI.
* Track and report on weekly sales performance and key activities.
* Analyse market trends and performance data to inform strategy and identify growth opportunities.
* Present insights and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.
Ideal Sales Manager Profile:
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience in B2B sales, ideally within the software or technology sector.
* Demonstrated success managing and growing key or complex accounts.
* Experience selling enterprise software, SaaS solutions, or technology products is advantageous.
