We are hiring our first Demand Generation Manager to design, build and lead the marketing function across both brands. This is a foundational hire. You will not inherit a team. You will build the engine needed for long-term success.

What you’ll be doing
* Design and execute demand generation campaigns that generate qualified pipeline across ABM Alliance and Apella.
* Own organic social strategy, delivering high-quality posts across company and leadership profiles designed to drive engagement, inbound conversations and qualified leads.
* Lead SEO strategy, including keyword research, search intent mapping, site structure optimisation and evergreen content creation focused on attracting high-intent executive buyers.
* Identify where we should be advertising, which industry events we should attend or sponsor, and which publications and platforms we should feature in to generate qualified demand and strengthen market authority.
* Secure PR opportunities, thought leadership placements and industry award submissions that increase visibility with senior decision-makers and drive inbound interest.
* Create and maintain high-impact marketing assets, including sponsor decks, case studies, research reports, media packs, landing pages and website copy designed to support campaign conversion.
* Manage and report on the annual demand generation budget, allocating spend across paid acquisition, campaigns, events, tools and content production.
* Track and report performance across marketing-sourced pipeline, cost per lead, cost per meeting, cost per acquisition and channel return on investment, with a minimum target return of 3:1 on marketing spend.
* Collaborate closely with sales and product leadership to ensure campaigns, positioning and messaging directly support pipeline generation and revenue growth.
What we’re looking for
* A commercially minded B2B demand generation professional with at least 5 years’ experience building campaigns that generate qualified pipeline for high-value services or SaaS products.
* Proven ability to design and execute demand generation programmes that convert senior decision-makers into qualified meetings and opportunities.
* Strong understanding of paid acquisition, SEO, organic social and account-based marketing, with the ability to prioritise channels that produce measurable pipeline.
* Experience managing marketing budgets with clear ROI accountability and a disciplined approach to campaign testing, optimisation and performance tracking.
* Comfortable operating as the first demand generation hire within a scale‑up environment, taking ownership of strategy, execution and results.
* Confident communicator able to translate complex value propositions into clear, compelling campaigns that resonate with senior executive audiences.
* Self‑starter who thrives with autonomy, ownership and accountability, and is motivated by building systems that generate predictable revenue growth.
* Experience working with sales teams to align campaigns with pipeline targets and convert marketing activity into measurable commercial outcomes.
* Experience within B2B events, professional services or SaaS environments is highly advantageous.

This is an on‑site role requiring attendance at Jubilee Place, Bristol, BS1 6PE on your scheduled working days.
