A friendly, supportive, and well-established primary school in the Selly Oak area is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis from April to July 2026. The Role:
* Take full responsibility for a Year 2 class
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS1 National Curriculum
* Use assessment effectively to monitor progress and support pupil development
* Create a positive, well-managed classroom environment
* Work closely with colleagues, parents, and support staff
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
* Experience teaching in Key Stage 1, ideally Year 2
* Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
* Ability to support, challenge, and engage all learners
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
