Payroll Officer (Maternity Cover) Annual Salary: £35,000 to £45,000 per annum Location: Orpington Job Type: Full-time, Temporary (Maternity Cover) We are seeking an experienced Payroll Officer for a maternity cover position. The ideal candidate will have comprehensive experience in managing the entire payroll process from start to finish, including pension management. Proficiency in using the i-Trent payroll system is essential for this role. Day-to-day of the role: Responsible for the full cycle of payroll processing in a timely and accurate manner. Manage and process pensions and other benefits. Ensure compliance with all statutory legislation and regulations. Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies in payroll. Maintain accurate payroll records and prepare payroll reports. Liaise with HR and finance teams to ensure smooth operation of payroll processes. Provide payroll-related support to employees and manage payroll queries effectively. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience in running full payroll processes independently. Strong knowledge and management of pension schemes. Proficient in i-Trent payroll system. Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail. Strong organisational and time management skills. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Good communication skills, capable of dealing with queries from employees and external parties.
