Senior Paid Media Manager Remote Role Purpose: The Senior Paid Media Manager will manage campaigns with large budgets and implement strategies that drive volume, hit target CPAs, whilst maximising ROI, as well as managing a high-performance team. As well as being hands-on, this role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in paid media and excellent analytical skills. This position has responsibility for the strategic direction of the Paid Search and Paid Social channels to drive income for businesses across the group. Highly driven with quick decision-making and good communication skills are essential. Responsibilities Responsibility for the PPC, Paid Social and Affiliate marketing channels. Managing a team of 6 with 3 direct reports. Develop and implement comprehensive paid media strategies that align with the company’s marketing objectives. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform campaign planning. Plan, execute, and manage advertising campaigns across various paid media channels, including Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Meta Ads, and more. Monitor campaign performance and make real-time adjustments to optimise results. Manage the paid media budgets, ensuring campaigns are executed within budget and resources are allocated effectively. Track and report on spending and ROI for paid media activities. Analyse the performance of paid media campaigns using metrics such as click-through rates (CTR), conversion rates, and cost per acquisition (CPA). Prepare and present reports on campaign performance to the Head of Digital Marketing & Operations and the business heads. Attend trading meetings with commercial directors and other key stakeholders. Conduct A/B testing to determine the most effective ad copy, creative, and targeting strategies. Implement optimisation strategies to improve key performance metrics. Work closely with content creators, designers, and other marketing team members to create cohesive and effective ads and landing pages. Stay updated with the latest paid media technologies and tools. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Requirements Strong understanding of paid media principles, tools, and best practices. Proficiency in using paid media platforms such as Google Ads, Microsoft Ads and Meta Ads. Ability to analyse paid media data and derive actionable insights. Strong problem-solving skills to address advertising challenges effectively. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to create compelling ad copy and interact with stakeholders. Strong organisational skills to manage multiple paid media campaigns and priorities simultaneously. Attention to detail to ensure accuracy and consistency in paid media efforts. Ability to generate innovative ideas for paid media campaigns and initiatives. Willingness to experiment with new advertising approaches and techniques.
