Role Overview
As a Bartender at Gino D’Acampo Restaurant, you will be responsible for delivering a vibrant and authentic Italian bar experience. You will prepare high-quality drinks, engage with guests, and support the restaurant team to ensure exceptional service in a lively hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
Bar Operations
* Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including cocktails, wines, beers, and soft drinks
* Ensure all drinks are crafted to brand standards and presented to a high level
* Maintain a clean, organised, and fully stocked bar at all times
* Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and inventory control
Customer Experience
* Provide friendly, engaging, and professional service to all guests
* Create a welcoming and energetic atmosphere at the bar
* Offer recommendations on drinks, including Italian wines and cocktails
* Handle customer requests and resolve any issues promptly and professionally
Team Support
* Work closely with floor staff and management to ensure smooth service
* Assist in supporting busy service periods across the restaurant when needed
* Contribute to a positive team environment and uphold brand values
Compliance & Standards
* Follow all health & safety, hygiene, and licensing regulations
* Ensure responsible alcohol service at all times
* Adhere to company policies and procedures
Skills & Experience
* Previous experience as a bartender or in a bar role within hospitality
* Knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and wines (Italian wine knowledge desirable)
* Strong customer service and communication skills
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
* Good attention to detail and presentation
