SEN Teaching Assistant – Islington Primary School – ASAP Start

PERSON SPECIFICATION: SEN Teaching Assistant
9. Strong academic background required – educated to a degree level
10. 1st Class or 2:1 required
11. Experience of supporting children (4-18) with SEN – Autism, PMLD, SLD, SP&L – Ideal
12. Childcare related experience, ideally with a SEN focus - Ideal
13. You MUST be resilient, patient, calm-natured, empathetic & adaptable
14. A hardworking and driven individual who will exceed all expectations of the role requirements
15. Strength academically – especially Maths & English
16. Creative & enthusiastic individual a great fit for the setting
17. PERFECT for an aspiring Psychologist – Educational / Clinical / Forensic
18. Ability to be versatile & support child’s various needs
19. Previous child / SEN related experience an advantage & preferred!
