Role Overview We are looking for a passionate and experienced Oral Health Practitioners/Hygienists to join our OHP training team. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing and supporting learners as they work towards their Level 4 Oral Health Practitioner qualification. You will use your specialist knowledge and experience to provide quality teaching and conduct in person skills labs. Salary : Up to 36,500 (pro-rata) depending on CAVA qualifications Role: 4 days per week Location: Southwest - remote based but must be able to commute to Crewkerne, Somerset You will play a key role in guiding and mentoring learners, ensuring they meet the required standards and are fully prepared to enter the workforce. Key Responsibilities. Assess learners' work against awarding body standards, providing constructive feedback and guidance.. Conduct regular reviews and assessments both within our regional practical skills hubs and via remote methods. Support learners in creating and maintaining a portfolio of evidence for their qualification.. Deliver training sessions and workshops to help learners develop their knowledge and skills.. Monitor and report on learner progress, identifying areas where additional support may be required.. Maintain accurate records of assessments and learner achievements.. Liaise with employers and other stakeholders to ensure learners receive comprehensive support throughout their training.. Stay current with best practices in oral health education and assessment methods. Requirements. Qualification as an Oral Health Practitioner or Dental Hygienist,. Willingness to work towards obtaining Assessor qualification (CAVA). Significant experience in a clinical environment as an oral health practitioner.. Strong understanding of the qualification requirements and assessment processes.. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.. Ability to motivate and inspire learners to achieve their goals.. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.. Commitment to ongoing professional development.
