Job Title: Warehouse Operative
Location: Dinnington, Rotherham S25 3AF
Salary: Salary starting at GBP24,126.96 per annum
Job Type: Full time, Permanent
Working Hours: 38 Hours per week, Monday to Thursday 07:30 to 16:00 and Friday 07:30 to 12:50 / No shift or weekend working
Backer Heatrod Ltd are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our team working at our Backer Electric Warehouse and Distribution site in Dinnington, Rotherham. Start date would be immediate.
We are the leading manufacturer of heating elements and associated process heating equipment thats required in domestic and industrial applications.
About The Role
The role will be varied across the warehouse function, supporting despatch, stock control, receiving orders, picking/packing of orders and also includes some light assembly of products. This busy role requires concentration, motivation and energy; everybody works under pressure to achieve our deadlines. It will involve teamwork, so you need to have good communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
* Picking of component parts with some light assembly of these
* Packing of completed orders
* Follow company guidelines regarding packaging with high attention to detail
* Performing warehouse operations in accordance with time, quality and quantity targets
* Use of materials, including hand tools / label printers
* Quality control of packaged items, ensuring it meets company standards for customer satisfaction
* Maintain a clean work area
