Class 1 Personnel are currently recruiting Chef Assistant for one of the largest Airline catering companies based at Heathrow Airport in Hounslow This role mainly consists of Heating and preparing food from the menu in the VIP lounges at Heathrow in the safest way following all Health and Safety guidelines Shift Times: Early (4:30 AM - 1:00 PM) and Late (12:30 PM - 10:30 PM) - flexibility for both is essential Hospitality and Catering The Candidate: To be considered for the Chef Assistant role you'll need to be able to demonstrate good attention to detail skills. The ideal person for the this position would need the following: - Previous experience is a must - Be able to provide your last 5 years history - Be prepared to undergo a UK criminal Check - Hard working - Keen and have a "can do attitude" - Reliable - UK right to work - Proof of National Insurance -Be able to get to Heathrow Airport for 04:00am Does that sound like you? Key Responsibilities: Prepare and present dishes within your designated section to a consistently high standard Work closely with fellow Kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service Maintain hygiene, health, and safety standards in the kitchen Support stock control and maintain cleanliness and organisation Follow direction from senior chefs and contribute to the overall success of the kitchen Requirements: Previous experience in a Chef Assistant role or similar position Excellent kitchen and teamwork skills Flexibility with shift patterns Ability to present for an in-person interview Candidates may provide any relevant culinary qualifications they hold Safety shoes are required; however, chef whites and personal knives are not needed.
