Overview
A well-established engineering organisation specialising in bespoke equipment for the offshore energy sector is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the design and delivery of complex mechanical systems.
This role combines technical leadership, client interaction, and hands-on engineering across electro-hydraulic and pneumatic equipment used in demanding environments.
Key Responsibilities
1. Act as lead engineer and primary technical interface for clients on new equipment design and build projects
2. Deliver designs in accordance with client specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements (including hazardous area compliance)
3. Produce and manage engineering calculation packages to validate design integrity
