An established and growing B2B insight and services organisation is looking for a commercially driven Business Development Manager to accelerate new client acquisition and drive continued double-digit growth.
You will take full ownership of the sales cycle, from identifying and engaging prospects through to closing and onboarding, targeting senior decision-makers across the FMCG and retail sectors.
Key Responsibilities
* Proactively identify and win new business opportunities
* Build trusted relationships with both warm and cold prospects
* Lead consultative sales conversations to understand client challenges and align tailored solutions
* Manage a robust pipeline with accurate forecasting and structured follow-ups
* Represent the organisation at industry events and networking forums
* Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and delivery
About You
* Minimum 2+ years’ experience in a quota-carrying B2B sales role
* Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets
* Experience working with FMCG and/or retail clients
* Strong consultative selling skills with the confidence to engage senior stakeholders
* Highly self-motivated, resilient and commercially astute
* Skilled at pipeline management and opportunity progression
* Excellent networking and relationship-building capabilities
