Overview
We are looking for an 8a Pharmacist to provide Clinical Pharmacy services within our clinical trial team. You will also provide cover in our licensed aseptic unit which supports clinical pharmacy services by providing Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapies and CIVAS. Duties will include supervision and release of individually prepared and batch manufactured medicines.
Responsibilities
* Lead within the clinical trials multidisciplinary teams, the timely set up and day-to-day management of clinical trials across various specialities.
* Work with other cancer services pharmacists to develop and deliver clinical trial pharmacy services directly to our cancer patients.
* Clinical screening of clinical trial chemotherapy prescriptions on the Chemocare prescribing system.
* Supervising and delivering training to provide education to other health professionals and undergraduates.
Qualifications
* Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.
* Interest in clinical trials.
* Ability to speak Welsh is desirable; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
