Join the Close Brothers Regulatory Change & Control Team where you will complete an assessment of the Bank’s current reporting process against the regulatory guidance.
Our ideal team member will have previous experience in analysing regulatory guidance, reviewing current reporting processes and highlighting areas for change and/or improvement in control and efficiency, and building documentation which links the regulatory guidance with the reporting approach with excellent analytical skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Analyse the current regulatory instructions across all prudential risk regulatory returns and Bank of England statistical returns, providing interpretations of the regulatory guidance.
* Analyse the Bank’s existing regulatory submissions to provide a gap analysis between the regulatory guidance and the current reporting approach.
* Management of stakeholders in each lending area of the business to understand their approach to regulatory submissions.
* Document regulatory treatment to provide clear lineage between the regulatory guidance and the Bank’s reporting processes
* Assist the Head of Regulatory Policy with writing papers to be written for Regulatory Interpretation Forum.
* Identify regulatory issues proactively and recommend remedies to promote compliance.
* Provide technical support to the Regulatory Reporting team.
WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE:
* Detailed knowledge of prudential regulations (CRR, PRA Rulebook)
* Well organised self-starter
* Strong written and oral communication skills
* Strong Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
IT IS NOT ESSENTIAL BUT IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAVE:
* Accounting qualifications with significant post qualified experience
* Alteryx experience
