This is a senior role with real visibility and influence, sitting at the centre of service delivery, client relationships, commercial performance, and operational leadership.
The business has grown strongly in recent years and, with key leadership hires already made, this is the next important appointment to support its long-term plans.
We are keen to hear from candidates with backgrounds in construction, facilities management, security, maintenance, responsive repairs, or similar operational service‑led sectors.
The role
As Head of Operations, you will lead the day‑to‑day performance of the division, ensuring services are delivered efficiently, clients receive a high standard of support, and the operation runs commercially and effectively.
You will take ownership of divisional performance, oversee internal teams and external partners, and play a key role in helping the business scale.
Key responsibilities
* Lead divisional operations and ensure high‑quality service delivery across contracts and clients
* Manage internal teams and third‑party partners to ensure performance, compliance, and customer satisfaction
* Take ownership of the divisionalP&L, including cost control, margin, forecasting, and operational reporting
* Oversee contract mobilisation, operational planning, and continuous improvement across processes and systems
* Ensure effective management of stock, assets, warehouse activity, logistics, and fleet operations
* Maintain high standards of compliance, governance, ISO accreditation, and Health & Safety
* Work closely with sales and senior leadership to support business growth, bids, and client retention
* Build a strong, accountable, and high‑performing culture across the division
About you
You will be an experienced operational leader with a strong commercial mindset and a track record of managing service delivery in a fast‑paced environment.
You are likely to bring:
* Experience in an operational leadership role within a service‑led sector
* Strong people management and stakeholder management skills
* Commercial awareness, including budget or P&L responsibilityExperience improving processes, managing performance, and driving standards
