An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Registered Mental Health Nurse to join the Rehabilitation Team for a secondment or fixed term position for a period of 6 Months.
Polmuir road is a 10 bedded community setting that offers 24 hour inpatient care from a multi-disciplinary team.
The rehab pathway is currently undergoing a review making this an opportune time for staff to be involved in the future direction of the service.
The post holder will contribute to providing high quality, evidence based care and support to patients who experience a diverse range of mental health issues within the rehabilitation service.
As a pivotal member of a multi-disciplinary team, the post holder will work closely with the Community Rehabilitation Team, in patient services, RCH and will give the post holder the opportunity to have a full overview of the service and the patient's journey within the rehabilitation service.
The post holder will be a self-motivating and skilled practitioner that possesses good clinical judgement and risk assessment skills. An openness to learn and develop skills in recovery oriented practice is a key element of the role.
