Role Purpose:
Owner of the short-, medium-, and long-term strategic plans for Hub stores, ensuring the day-to-day operations in these stores are efficient and achieve business targets. Management of the Hub team, including those field-based, ensuring that the team is set up to deliver the best on-time fulfilment for our online customers.
A typical day in this role includes:
* Overseeing and optimising the operation of our Hub stores.
* Strategic development of our online fulfilment model.
* Forecasting, planning resources, capability, and cost control across a group of Hub stores.
* Working with third-party suppliers to improve delivery promise and final mile delivery (consumables and couriers).
* Applying strong knowledge of store operations, logistics, supply chain management, and team leadership.
* Exhibiting excellent organisational skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to drive continuous improvement.
* Overseeing daily operations, ensuring efficient and effective processes.
* Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of Hub operation managers.
* Implementing process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
* Monitoring KPIs to meet or exceed targets.
* Ensuring compliance with company policies, safety standards, and ROS requirements.
* Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders for smooth operations.
* Preparing and presenting reports on hub performance, challenges, and opportunities.
* Demonstrating strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Working under pressure, adapting to change, and making quick, sound decisions.
* Planning effectively for peak periods.

What you’ll need:
* Comfort with computers and Office 365 suite.
* A strong understanding of store operations and logistics.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
