Job Role:
Pharmacists
We are seeking a knowledgeable and highly skilled Pharmacist to join our team. The pharmacist will play a crucial role in patient care by counselling patients on medication usage and potential side effects, as well as collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimise medication therapy.
QUALIFICATIONS & JOB REQUIREMENTS:
1. 6 months of Healthcare experience as a Pharmacists
2. Right to work in the UK
3. References covering the last 3 years of clinical employment
4. AHPs should have 1 year of experience
5. HCPC registered
6. Overseas Police Check, if any
7. Indemnity Insurance
8. Up-to-date CV
9. Key skills: Compassion, Time management, Clinical Skills
RESPONSIBILITIES:
10. Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently while ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
11. Provide medication therapy management by reviewing prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness, monitoring for drug interactions, and advising patients on proper medication usage.
12. Counsel patients on medication usage, potential side effects, and answer any questions or concerns they may have.
13. Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians and nurses, to optimize patient medication therapy and ensure comprehensive patient care.
14. Maintain accurate patient records and medication profiles, including allergies and medication history.
15. Oversee inventory management to ensure adequate stock levels and proper storage of medications.
16. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with all pharmacy policies and procedures.
