Join to apply for the Staff Nurse - Treatment Room role at Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust Treatment Room service in the Greater Preston and Chorley South Ribble areas. The Treatment Room service operates Monday to Friday (excluding weekends and bank holidays). Appointments are available between 08:30 and 16:30, with two late evening clinics (until 8pm) and one early clinic (start at 8am) once a week.
Applicants must be willing to work flexibly over 5 days, able to work well within a team and on their own initiative. The role involves providing care to patients with acute/chronic wounds, post-operative wound assessment, removal of sutures and clips, intramuscular injections, lower limb assessments, compression bandaging and ear irrigation.
The post holder will possess a wide range of clinical skills as a registered nurse and participate in all aspects of nursing care within treatment rooms, including nurse-led services. They will provide high-standard clinical care, assist in assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care programmes, undertake extended roles as appropriate to the service, participate in clinical and service audits, and comply with all relevant policies and protocols.
The post holder will help deliver the objectives set out within the Lancashire Care NHS Foundation Trust business plan and contribute to the Trust’s overall mission in the community and partner settings.
