3. Oversee the organisation's financial strategy, ensuring alignment with its broader goals.
4. Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
5. Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
6. Provide leadership to the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
7. Collaborate with senior leadership to advise on financial risks and opportunities.
8. Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
9. Lead the preparation of annual accounts and liaise with external auditors.
10. Support strategic decision-making through financial analysis and insights.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Interim Finance Director should:
11. Be ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified
12. Have robust charity sector experience at Director level
13. Strong experience in financial leadership within the not-for-profit sector.
14. Proven ability to manage complex financial operations and reporting.
15. Excellent knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
16. Experience collaborating with senior leadership to drive organisational success.
17. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
18. Effective communication and leadership abilities
