This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to step into a senior role with real influence over tenders, projects, and business growth. The Role As a Senior Estimator, you’ll be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates across a range of social housing and construction projects. You’ll play a key part in securing work and ensuring bids are commercially sound, while supporting junior estimators and contributing to the overall success of the business. Key responsibilities include: Producing detailed cost plans and tender submissions. Managing the estimating process from initial enquiry through to final submission. Liaising with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing. Providing value engineering options and cost advice. Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team. What We’re Looking For To succeed in this role, you’ll need to bring: Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction/social housing sector. Strong technical knowledge of construction processes and materials. Excellent attention to detail with strong numerical and analytical skills. Confidence in managing multiple bids and deadlines. Strong communication skills and the ability to build lasting relationships.
