Graduate Teaching Assistant – Sunderland Secondary Schools
ASAP start, £95 to £105 per day, ideal for Humanities/Social Sciences graduates (STEM graduates also welcome).
Teaching Personnel is recruiting graduates to work as Teaching Assistants in secondary schools across Sunderland. If you've recently graduated and you're considering a career in education, this is the perfect opportunity to gain hands on classroom experience while earning competitive pay.
We're particularly interested in applications from Humanities and Social Sciences graduates who are passionate about supporting young people's learning.
What you'll be doing:
* Supporting students in lessons across your subject area
* Delivering 1:1 and small group interventions
* Assisting teachers with classroom management and resources
* Helping students with additional learning needs
* Building positive relationships with students and staff
* Gaining valuable experience before potential teacher training
You need:
* A degree in any subject (STEM subjects particularly desirable)
* Passion for working with young people
* Strong communication skills
* Patience and adaptability
* Previous experience with children or young people (desirable but not essential)
