ROLE OVERVIEW:
The Cardo Group are currently recruiting for a Business Administrator Apprentice to join our team based in the Kingston upon Thames area.
The Apprentice Business Administrator role provides essential support to the business by handling a variety of administrative tasks, ensuring smooth daily operations. This role involves general office support, data management, and contributing to the efficient functioning of the business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* General Office Support: Answering phones, managing emails, filing, photocopying, and maintaining a tidy workspace.
* Data Management: Entering data into computer systems, updating databases, and creating spreadsheets.
* Communication: Interacting with clients and colleagues, both in person, online and over the phone, and preparing correspondence.
* Meeting Support: Organising meetings, preparing agendas, taking minutes, and distributing follow-up actions.
* Document Management: Creating and maintaining files, both physical and digital, and archiving documents.
* Financial Tasks: Assisting with processing invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports.
* Event Support: Helping with the planning and execution of company events.
* Problem Solving: Addressing queries and resolving issues for colleagues, clients, and other stakeholders.
* Continuous Improvement: Contributing to the improvement of administrative processes and systems.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
* Educational Background: 5 GCSEs (A-C or 4-9) including English and Maths, plus additional qualifications such as A Levels, BTEC, or T Level.
* Organisational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines.
* Communication Skills: Clear and professional verbal and written communication.
* Computer Literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other relevant software.
* Attention to Detail: Accuracy in data entry, record-keeping, and document preparation.
* Customer Focus: Providing excellent service to internal and external stakeholders.
* Teamwork: Collaborating effectively with colleagues and contributing to a positive work environment.
* Problem-Solving: Identifying issues and developing solutions.
* Adaptability: Being flexible and able to adjust to changing priorities and tasks.
