Position Overview
We are seeking 1–2 full‑time CW‑FIT Research Project Coordinators to implement the evidence‑based CW‑FIT intervention in rural K‑8 schools. The coordinator will train Rural Coaches, who will then train and support teachers, using a micro‑credentialing program embedded in a Rural Coaching Model across 120 schools and 480 teachers in Kansas, New Mexico, Nebraska, Arizona, Colorado, and Oklahoma.
The coordinator will be a CW‑FIT Regional trainer overseeing recruitment, training, and conference presentations. Willingness to travel out of state and flexibility around school schedules is required. The position is based at JGCP in downtown Kansas City, KS (444 Minnesota Ave, Suite 300). Reimbursement for travel beyond salary is provided, and employment is contingent upon background check and available funding.
Key Responsibilities
* 50% – Coordinate efforts with the project team according to the proposed plan and timeline:
o Direct one‑to‑one remote training of rural school coaches and teachers.
o Monitor and support participants in the micro‑credential program.
* 20% – Coordinate with an independent evaluation team, including video‑directed observation of classrooms and survey administration.
* 20% – Produce reports and presentations for regional and national conferences, collaborating with principal investigators.
* 10% – Travel and virtual communication with rural schools to recruit, coordinate, support, and monitor activities; 3–4 trips per year, up to 1 week each, plus 1–2 conferences per year (2–4 days each).
Position Requirements
* Out‑of‑state travel.
* Flexibility in scheduling around school schedules.
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in education or special education, and at least 5 years of teaching experience in public schools.
* Experience working independently with multiple individuals, with limited supervision.
* Strong organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working in Indigenous‑serving schools and/or with Native American student populations.
* Elementary or secondary teaching certificate.
* Experience as an academic instructional coach.
* Experience in conference presentations.
* Experience with Canvas, Brightspace, or Blackboard online learning platforms.
* Strong verbal communication skills.

Salary and Hiring Dates
Advertised salary range: $55,000 – $66,157 annually.
